Paper Topics For Structured Theology
Paper Topics For Structured TheologyWe have looked at some of the paper topics for systematic theology. In this post we look at some of the larger theological areas to which the topic of systematic theology can be applied.Metaphysics and God are a two edged sword that any student of systematic theology must be prepared to face. On the one hand there is a commitment to an ontological, or explanatory, God. He is not just the substance, nor the essence, but the ultimate source and sustainer of the world. On the other hand there is the Cartesian movement away from any such conceptions. This commitment to an explanatory God is, as you will see, justified by the fact that such questions about God have been wrestled with for centuries. In fact it is a question of debate as to whether or not God is one distinct being or several. That of course leads us to the next topic...The idea that the soul and its component parts are inseparable from the body's fall is one that has been questioned for so me time now. More recent research in Neuroscience has placed the original Adamic doctrine on hold. What it is that you and I have in common is said to be much less clear. This is where systematic theology comes in. In this field we are committed to investigating these questions - God and the soul - closely. It is from this same discipline that we should seek answers to these problems. The study of theology can be difficult and stressful, so if you feel that your life has been enriched by your participation in systematic theology, then you would be wise to take advantage of professional support. Look for a system to match your learning style and your philosophical inclinations. No two people would ever have the same system and so it is important to be able to switch from one method to another when needed.Among the more popular forms of structured instruction for systematic theology is Expository. An Expository Exegetical Systematic theology is the type of systematic theology, that you probably know better than any other. It is the type of systematic theology that gives you the best chance of success in this field, because it is the type of systematic theology that keeps you interested. In theology, your success is contingent upon the quality of your effort. It is your way of working out the day to day problems that come up in your theological study. So be sure to follow up and continue to give yourself credit when you have worked hard.
